…And a happy new year!

Happy New Year to all of our  friends and family!

Can you believe it’s the new year already??!! How did time fly so quickly by? I hope that everyone celebrated safely and responsibly. Or at least celebrated! We sure did.

We decided to take a trip down to Maumee Bay State park for a New Years Eve Party. Nana and Papa came up and watched the girls while we went out for NYE the first time in the last decade! Seriously! So we were ready to have some fun!

The girls did have their own NYE celebration at the zoo. They raised their glasses of juice and watched the ball drop at NOON! They made some great crafts, watched ice carving and played in Nature’s Neighborhood for a long time! They thought it was a blast!

It was a really fun, albeit a very interesting evening. As it turns out, we were the youngest ones there in the adult party section. There was even a guy shaking his thang on the dance floor with his oxygen tank!!

One the dance floor with oxygen!!

But the dinner was nice and of course we brought some of our own concoctions (Clarks – Bellini’s, Falzone’s – margarita’s, Summers – mojito’s) and champagne. Some fun was had on the dance floor rockin’ to some 70’s and 80’s tunes. It was really a great time!

“Every new year people make resolutions to change aspects of themselves they believe are negative. A majority of people revert back to how they were before and feel like failures. This year I challenge you to a new resolution. I challenge you to just be yourself.” – Aisha Elderwyn

Wishing all our friends a year full of love, laughter and joy! Make 2010 memorable!
